This course is designed for people who are wanting to drive trucks and/or buses between 6,000kgs – 18,000kgs. If you do this course you don’t have to wait 6 months from the time you sit your Class 2 learners to sit your full licence.

Day 1 & 2: Learner licence study modules. You will need to sit and pass your 2L at AA or VTNZ once you have completed the study modules.
Day 3: Logbook & Fatigue management theory assessment

📱 Pre-study material is done at home with a mixture of book work and online modules which can be done on a smart phone.

Medical: DL 9 Medical from your doctor to show you are medically fit to drive

24089: Demonstrate knowledge of fatigue management, Work Time, and Driver Logbook requirements, Level 3, Credits: 5.
17574: Operate a rigid vehicle to meet the requirements for a full Class 2 driver licence, Level 3, Credits: 7.
Once successfully completed, all NZQA credits are reported on your record of learning with NZQA.
