This course is designed for people who are wanting to drive trucks and/or buses more than 25,000kg. If you do this course you don’t have to wait 6 months from the time you gain your C5 learners to sit your full licence.

📱 Pre-study material is done at home with a mixture of book work and online modules which can be done on a smart phone.

Licence: either:
Held your NZ Class 4 full licence for more than 6 months or 3 months if you are over 25 years old. You will need to then sit your Class 5 learner licence which we can help you with.
OR
Hold a current NZ Class 5 learner licence
Medical: DL 9 Medical from your doctor to show you are medically fit to drive

Hi-viz vest (This can be supplied by On Demand)
Unit Standard:

24089: Demonstrate knowledge of fatigue management, Work Time, and Driver Logbook requirements, Level 3, Credits: 5.
17575: Operate a combination vehicle to meet the requirements for a full Class 5 driver licence, Level 3, Credits: 7.
Once successfully completed, all NZQA credits are reported on your record of learning with NZQA.
